Les tubes en acier à fini en alliage ferritique doivent être exempts d'échelle lâche et adaptés à l'inspection.

Les tubes en acier inoxydable doivent être mariés sans échelle. Lorsqu'il est utilisé, le pickling n'est pas nécessaire. Toute exigence de finition spéciale doit être soumise à un accord entre le fournisseur et l'acheteur.
